A system of three lakes in the Northern Tien Shan, in the Kolsay gorge, the bridge between the ridges of the Kungei Alatau and Ile Alatau. The lakes are located on the territory of rayymbek district of Almaty region of Kazakhstan and are 10 km North of the border with Kyrgyzstan, 330 km South-East of Almaty height of about 1000 m, 2500 m, 2700 m above sea level.
