Unique and healing properties of Mare’s milk and its derivatives have long been known to people. Since ancient times, nomads called pair Mare’s milk “saumal” (“Mal” – in Kazakh means “cattle”, and ” sau ” -healthy, whole, unharmed). Rudolf Shtorkh, who appeared as a prisoner of war in the Kazakh steppe, fell ill with a severe form of tuberculosis and was considered doomed to death by the camp management, as a result of which he was released to die. One of the locals decided to nurse in almost a dying condition Rudolf Storch, otpaivala it soumala. It is the knowledge about the healing properties soumala (Mare’s milk) has helped to put the former pow on his feet. After a while, Rudolf Storch recovered and went to Germany, where he became an ardent supporter of the beneficial properties of Mare’s milk and founded its production.
